U.S. Ambassador Joseph Ghougassian to be Honored at Peachtree Christian Hospice Benefit, Gala and Awards Dinner

It was with a generous heart and giving spirit that the late D. Scott Hudgens made Peachtree Christian Hospice possible by funding the cost of building the hospice and donating the land on which to build it.  Each year Peachtree Christian Hospice honors that altruism and seeks to recognize such qualities in others by presenting an award in his name to an individual who has exhibited an unselfish spirit of caring for others.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers who participated in the Gwinnett Great Days of Service held at PCH on Saturday, October 4th. We had 24 dedicated volunteers who worked hard to lay 200 bales of pine straw around the Hospice Center. Due to the efforts of these wonderful volunteers, the landscape looks vibrant with the fresh layer of pine straw which is especially important at our Center as it contributes to the serenity that our patients and their families so desire at such a difficult time in their lives.
